Wines from Argentina

To the great surprise of many, Argentina cherishes a long tradition producing top quality wines. No one can deny that after a few years of strong foreign investments, the offer of top quality Argentinean wines has outstandingly increased. However, the local wine consumption has grown as well. The reasons for this “explosion” are quite simple: the quality of the lands that extend from North to South along the Andes, the height and the temperature range, the local know-how added to state-of-the-art technologies, and particularly, the special interest of the Argentinean for their own wines, which is considered a part of the identity of the country, comparable to the famous Argentinean beef.
